Common Questions

Good things to know

A few of the questions I'm asked most. If you don't see yours below, please reach out — I love a good email.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in [Your City] but I travel anywhere. About half of my work each year happens outside my home state, and I love a destination wedding.

How far in advance should we book?

Most weddings book six to twelve months out, though I occasionally have shorter-notice openings. The best thing to do is just ask — I'll be honest about availability.

Do you photograph on film?

Yes. Every wedding includes a mix of digital and film unless you'd prefer otherwise. Film adds a certain softness and depth that I think is worth the extra effort.

How long until we receive our gallery?

Sneak peeks within one week, and the full gallery within six weeks. Albums and prints are designed in the months following.

Will you help with our timeline?

Always. A thoughtful timeline is one of the most important pieces of a beautiful day, and I'll work with you (and your planner, if you have one) to build one that protects light, time, and breathing room.

What's your booking process?

Send a note through the contact page with your date and a few details. I'll send a guide, we'll hop on a call, and if it feels like a good fit I'll send a contract and an invoice for the retainer.
